I'm a family filmmaker and photographer based in Samford, Brisbane, and very much a mum who gets it.
I'm down to earth, practical and comfortable with chaos. I'll read the room, work out what your family needs, and help everyone feel at ease without making a big production of it.
Because I want two things for you: to walk away with photographs and films you absolutely love, and to realise that having your family documented can be a genuinely good time.
You don't need to know what to do or be anything other than yourselves. That's my job.

BE HERE JUST AS YOU ARE
Give yourselves a little breathing room on session day. I'll guide you when you need it and give your family space to let natural moments unfold. We'll take the time needed to create something beautiful, without watching the clock.

RELIVE THE FEELING
A little preview arrives within 24 hours. Your finished photographs are ready within three weeks for photo-only collections, or five weeks for collections that include a film. Your photographs and film give you something tangible to return to — a way to remember not just what this season looked like, but what it felt like to be here, all of you together.

FAQs
WHAT IF MY KIDS ARE WILD OR SHY AND WON’T COOPERATE?

Honestly, that's family life. You don't need perfectly behaved children for beautiful photographs and films. I’ll read the room adapt to their energy and guide things when needed. My job is to work with your family as you are, not expect you to fit a mould. I have plenty of experience as a mother and also as a photographer who has had everything from sick babies, toddler tantrums (adult tantrums!), moody teens and a whole spectrum of neurodivergence.
What should we wear?
I'll send you a preparation guide with advice to help you choose clothes that feel like you and work beautifully together. No need for everyone to match or feel dressed up as someone they're not. I also have a motherhood, newborn and small children’s wardrobe which may just help you achieve the look you’re after and save you some time and money.

WHERE SHOULD WE HAVE OUR SESSION?

This depends on your family and the experience you’d love to have. At home sessions are wonderful for preserving the familiar details of everyday life while scenic and urban locations offer space for energetic children to explore. I’ll help you find the right fit for your children’s ages and personalities. I have location guides for Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and am equally comfortable (if not more inspired!) to go somewhere new and meaningful to you! I also have an extensive HipCamp list that would be perfect for camping and adventurous families.
DOes our home need to look beautiful for A session at home?

Not at all. I’m looking for the light, connection and little details that make your home yours, not a perfectly styled house straight from Country Style. I’m good at finding the interesting compositions, shooting past any clutter and making it work beautifully for you family.
